McCarran International Airport is the central airport serving the Las Vegas Area. Taxi Service is available at the airport. An approximate cost of a taxi from the airport to The Strip is between $11 and $15.
Getting Around Las Vegas
A quick and easy way to get around Las Vegas is the Las Vegas Monorail which travels along the east side of The Strip behind the resorts. It runs 7 days a week from 7am - 2am Monday to Thursday and until 3am Friday to Sunday.
The monorail runs from one end of The Strip to the other with seven stops in total taking approximately 15 minutes. The station located closest to The Venetian & Palazzo Resorts and the Sands Convention Center is the Harrah’s/Imperial Palace station.
Tickets start at $5 for a single ride ticket to $28 for a 3 day pass. Tickets can be purchased in online in advance or at any of the seven stations using the touch-screen ticket vending machines.
